New songs for Cinco de Mayo 2025

 here they are:


"Feeling" by Billie Marten:  The title of this song alone indicates you'll feel moved by it somehow, and that's exactly what happens! In "Feeling," which is equal parts synth-pop and folk-pop, a light, breezy sound happens throughout and inspires positivity and peace within its listeners. There's not a whole lot holding the song together in its lyrics or in its length, but sometimes, simple is best.


"There She Goes" by Curtis Harding:  Not to be confused with the La's song of the same name, neo-soul musician Curtis Harding's "There She Goes" is a soulful love ballad. Punctuated by sweeping strings and pianos, it's not as funky as most of Curtis' material, but it's cool to see a more sensitive side to his material!

New songs for October 20th, 2025

here they are: "Another Second Chance" by Rocket:  Anyone nostalgic for rock and alt from the '90s (like I am) will probably love these guys! Garbage and Smashing Pumpkins are especially clear influences for the group, but one YouTube commenter also compared them to '90s rock giants like Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and Weezer, all of whom are fitting comparisons here. Lead singer Alithea Tuttle has such breathy yet detached vocals that it would probably be easy to mistake them for a '90s rock group both in terms of vocals and instrumentation. As was common for rock and alt songs of the '90s, there is a sense of vulnerability beneath the tough yet wounded sound of the song. The title refers to how Alithea wants another chance at a romance that seemed to elude her. New songs for the day before St. Patrick's Day 2026

 here they are: "All I Did Was Dream of You" by beabadoobee:  beabadoobee has already had some pretty dreamy tracks in her career, but this might just be the dreamiest (fitting to its title). "All I Did Was Dream of You" has the 2020's indie-pop sensation singing one of the most icy yet hypnotic tracks she has ever released. Most of the lyrics fit the mood of the song, but there is one part where she sings "Nightmares always feel like this/They swallow me, but I let it go/Doesn't feel like I can breathe/But they follow me and I let it go." There's also a brief part in the song where its dream-pop-y vibe briefly gets a bit grungy, albeit not in an extreme way. This song is a bit like "6 Underground" by Sneaker Pimps if Garbage decided to cover it.
